Frequently Asked Questions

What is your studio's process?
Every project is unique. Before we take on a new client, we must first determine if Shomen Productions is, in fact, the right fit for the job. Once we’ve agreed we’re a fit, we commence with the Shomen One Cut Process.
How do you handle quality control?
After identifying and confirming the client’s creative need, we propose a production schedule for reviews and stage-by-stage deliverables. Each stage will have specific objectives shared with the client, along with corresponding review calls. Production progresses only after the client has reviewed, agreed, and signed off on each stage. If, for some reason, the client is unhappy with the work presented for that stage, a second review session will be scheduled to make the required adjustments to the client’s satisfaction.
How will we know what shots are approved and when they're ready for animation?
Who is responsible for sound design and audio mastering in the final product?
What kind of post-production services do you offer?
Do you have a team of artists who can create character designs according to our specifications?
Will you be working with us directly, or will there be a project manager or account executive assigned to our job?
How do you handle revisions?
What is the minimum number of shots we can order?
One. We have completed projects that were a single shot that ran for one minute or more.
What is the typical turnaround time for an animated video project?
The turnaround time for a project depends on the project’s complexity, the urgency of the client’s need, and the production budget. We are happy to discuss a potential turnaround time after learning more about a client’s project.
